The Carolina Panthers are expected to cut defensive end Daeshon Hall, according to Joe Person of The Athletic.

Hall was selected by the Panthers in the third round (No. 77 overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was expected to be an integral part of a youth movement at defensive end when he was drafted, but his rookie season was set back due to a knee injury that placed him on injured reserve.
