Carolina Panthers sign UDFA punter Joseph Charlton to three year deal

With one week to go until the start of training camp (probably), the Carolina Panthers have signed undrafted rookie punter Joseph Charlton from the University of South Carolina. They have signed him to a three-year deal.

The Panthers own press release touts Charlton as a record setting punter at his school, which makes sense because the University of South Carolina’s football program has recently been one that affords a wealth of opportunities to their punters in terms of playing time.
