The Panthers team site announced this morning the addition of three pass catchers: wide receivers Tommylee Lewis and Marken Michel, and tight end Andrew Vollert. In order to keep the roster at 80 players, the team also announced the waiving of tight end Cam Sutton, linebacker Kyahva Tezino, and wide receiver DeAndrew White. The team also waived linebacker Jason Ferris from injured reserve.
Tommylee Lewis might not be a name familiar to most Panthers fans, but it is a name very near and dear to Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and offensive coordinator Joe Brady.
