Carolina Panthers sign kick/punt returner Greg Dortch from New York Jets practice squad

The Carolina Panthers have signed punt returner Greg Dortch to their 53-man roster to replace the recently released Ray-Ray McCloud, according to a report from Max Henson of the team’s website. Dortch was most recently a member of the New York Jets practice squad.

The speedy Dortch, listed as 5-foot-7 and 175 pounds, signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent. Dortch played collegiately at Wake Forest, where he was an All-American returner after recording two punt return touchdowns during his final season. He also posted 89 catches for 1,078 yards and eight touchdowns for the Demon Deacons in 2018.
