Charlotte, N.C. — Free agent running back CJ Anderson has signed a one-year deal with the Carolina Panthers, the team announced Monday.
The 27-year-old played all 16 games and completed a 1,000-yard rushing season for the first time in his career in 2017, finishing with the ninth-most rushing yards in the NFL (1,007 yards) last season.

Anderson played in 58 games in his five seasons in Denver, rushing for 20 touchdowns and 3,051 yards. He takes care of the football: Anderson only lost three fumbles in 693 rushing attempts.
