The Carolina Panthers made a roster move today in an effort to bolster their depth in the secondary by signing cornerback Alex Carter, according to Max Henson. To make room for Carter, safety Damian Parms was placed on injured reserve.

Carter was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
