New Washington Redskins head coach Ron Rivera recently chimed in his thoughts if a reunion with free agent quarterback Cam Newton would happen. The Redskins would benefit from such a move.
At this point in time, free agent quarterback Cam Newton is still trying to find a new home. He hasn’t drawn any significant interest from NFL teams so far this offseason. Even with the 2020 NFL Draft officially in the books, no teams have bothered to reach out to Newton as the odds are against him at the moment.
With what is going on in the world with social distancing, Newton has been diligently working hard on making a return to the gridiron but can’t do any physicals or team workouts.
