The Carolina Panthers made several roster moves today before they meet for their first official practice of training camp tomorrow.
Wide receiver Torrey Smith, and linebackers Jermaine Carter and Brandon Chubb were placed on the actice physically unable to perform (aka PUP) list.
There’s no need to be alarmed about the status of these three players, because the key word in that statement is ‘active’. When a team places a player on the active PUP list, they can be taken off the list at any time.
