In the first practice of the final week of OTAs, the Carolina Panthers saw cornerback James Bradberry go down with a wrist injury. After x-rays, it was revealed that Bradberry had actually suffered a fracture in his wrist, according to the team site.
“He fractured the left radius,” head athletic trainer Ryan Vermillion said. “We took him over to Dr. Pat Connor, and he’ll be in a cast for six weeks.”
While he did suffer a fracture and will be in a cast, the news isn’t all bad. The second-year cornerback should be back in time for training camp without limitations, per Max Henson.
