College prospect Jacob Knipp is on the Carolina Panthers’ radar as a possible late-round selection in the 2020 NFL Draft.
According to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic, the team held a video call with the Northern Colorado quarterback earlier this week after attending his pro day.
The organization clearly likes what they have seen from the player so far during the evaluation process. How Knipp fared during the video call with Carolina’s decision-makers will go a long way to determining whether they take a late-round flyer on the player later this month.
Knipp has gone under the radar somewhat given the high-profile players at the position entering the NFL in 2020.
