The Carolina Panthers return to Bank of America Stadium on Friday evening for their final preseason game before things get a little more serious during the 2021 season. Head coach Matt Rhule plans to play the majority of starters for around a half against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who’ll provide a stern test of their credentials after reaching the postseason last time around.
Carolina is currently 0-2 in preseason games after losing to the Baltimore Ravens and at the Indianapolis Colts. Although not the end of the world, this is the last chance to generate some momentum with the first-team unit before the Panthers begin preparations for a hugely important Week 1 clash against the New York Jets.
