With just eight selections in the 2020 NFL Draft, it was something of a surprise that the Carolina Panthers traded one of their selections. This was in order to move up and take safety Jeremy Chinn in the third round.
This represented an area of considerable need for the Panthers, who needed a fresh influx of youth across the defense. This is something they managed to achieve and more, with Carolina becoming the first team in NFL history to use every selection on the defensive side of the ball.
Chinn is a player that comes with a tremendous amount of upside.
