The Carolina Panthers dominated throughout the game last week but managed a win by only one possession after fumbling away an opportunity to score early and never consistently moving the football. A few hiccups under new coordinator Norv Turner although the unit did appear to operate more efficiently than last season, despite limited results.
Fortunately, the defense kept Dallas without any real opportunities until late in the game, not allowing the Cowboys a single play in Panthers territory during the first half. Having to play in one of the most difficult divisions around the NFL, Carolina nudged forward with a win over Dallas, but remains behind other NFC South teams – even some that lost.
