The Carolina Panthers have claimed running back Mike Davis off of waivers following his release by the Chicago Bears.
The Panthers released return man Greg Dortch to make room for him on the 53-man roster. Davis was claimed to add depth at the running back position, per the Athletic’s Jourdan Rodrigue. Davis is a fifth year pro, having spent two years each with the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks before spending the start of this year with the Bears.
