According to multiple media reports, the Carolina Panthers star has mild sprain on his left foot. There is hope that he will be ready for the opener against the Los Angeles Rams.
The injury occurred in the first quarter of Thursday night’s 10-3 preseason loss to New England. After being examined on the sidelines, he walked to the locker room and did not return for the rest of the game.
