At first glance, Aldrick Robinson may not seem like a major signing. Especially on a one-year deal, it would be very easy to overlook the move the Carolina Panthers made on Friday by bringing him in. However, it seems like he wants to stay around for more than just a year.
Jordan Rodrigue of the Charlotte Observer touched on this earlier Friday. Robinson wants to prove himself during his time in Charlotte. He wants to be able to develop a relationship with quarterback Cam Newton and the rest of the wide receivers.
