In 20-plus years since the former Baltimore Colt, entrepreneur and native Carolinian Jerry Richardson fulfilled his dream of owning a Carolina-based NFL franchise, the Carolina Panthers have had many a watershed win.
Despite coming up short the Panthers have already played in two Super Bowls. The young franchise has also participated in a third NFC championship game, enjoying early success as a team built with a strong foundation. Until last season, Carolina enjoyed three straight playoff appearances becoming the first team to win consecutive NFC South divisional titles.
However, a handful of victories stand out a little more in the minds of the blue, black and silver faithful.
