Carolina Panthers All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey and standout wide receiver D.J. Moore carried the offense last year. It was a major breakout season for both young offensive studs and they’ll look to continue their success in 2020.
The problem is that every defensive coordinator in the league knows that McCaffrey and Moore are the major chain-movers for the Carolina Panthers. Opposing defenses will spend all week preparing to slow down the team’s best two offensive players. And this can bring its own set of complications.
This means that the Panthers will be forced to rely on role players to step up on offense or else they could struggle to move the ball.
