The Carolina Panthers have a bunch of studs on defense. As they look to enter a transitional year on the unit, there should be a nice mix of a veteran and younger players to be had. This is a season that could be very pivotal for Carolina. All of their key players are veterans now, and they should be able to compete with not only the NFC South, but with the rest of the National Football League.
Of course, that is a lot easier said than done. The defense as a unit struggled last year. Now, they look to refocus and regroup, as they have made several additions to help the team.
