The Carolina Panthers have taken offensive tackle Daryl Williams with the 102nd overall pick in the fourth round of the draft. Like their previous pick, Carolina traded up in order to secure Williams’ selection. The Panthers traded their fourth (no. 124 overall), fifth (no. 161 overall), and seventh-round (no. 242 overall) picks to acquire the former Oklahoma tackle. The trade left the Panthers with only two more picks in the draft, both in the fifth round.

Offensive tackle was one of, if not the most important need for Carolina coming into the draft.
