The rumors out of Bank of America Stadium about Cam Newton possibly practicing by Monday seem to be well founded. Head coach Ron Rivera shared that Newton is already out of the walking boot that he was seen with when exiting the stadium following Thursday night’s preseason loss to the New England Patriots.

Newton sustained a mid-foot sprain while being sacked for the second time in the first quarter of that game.
