Cam Newton was a limited participant each day last week, not throwing during the portion of practice open to the media. Fortunately, he was absent from the final injury report and played all but one snap on offense for the Carolina Panthers against the Baltimore Ravens.
Following an impressive performance two weeks ago over the final quarter against Philadelphia, in which Newton and the offense scored three consecutive touchdowns to win, both picked up where they left off upon their return to Charlotte. After allowing a Ravens touchdown and then punting on their initial possession, the Panthers again found the end zone in three consecutive drives marching to a 24-7 halftime lead.
