Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is celebrating his 28th birthday today and according to his personal Instagram account, in typical Newton fashion. Newton posted a video of him and some friends in what appears to be Costa Rica enjoying some time away from the football field.
Smoking cigars, riding four wheelers and flipping off a yacht into crystal clear waters, Newton seems prepared to celebrate turning 28 in a big way. Given the history of 28 year olds, it could be an exciting year for him.
Already having led the Panthers to three straight post season appearances and one Super Bowl prior to last year, Newton should be poised for a return to his 2015 MVP winning ways next season.
