Joe Brady is fresh off his first year as an offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers in the NFL. That season featured a 5-11 record in which the bulk of their lost games were by one possession. In other words, the offense for which he was responsible was incapable of scoring enough points to win games consistently. His previous jobs were as ‘passing coordinator’ for some college team for one year and as an unspecified offensive assistant for the Drew Brees-carried New Orleans Saints for a few years before that.
