5 free agents the Panthers missed out on in 2020

The free agency period was an extremely busy one for the Carolina Panthers. Trades were made, high-profile players were brought in and a number of established faces departed for pastures new.

Head coach Matt Rhule endured something of a baptism of fire during his first offseason thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. He spent considerable resources strengthening the offensive side of the ball, primarily with the acquisition of quarterback Teddy Bridgewater from the New Orleans Saints.

Left tackle Russell Okung also came in as part of a deal that sent guard Trai Turner to the Los Angeles Chargers.
