It was arguably the most complete performance of the season from the Carolina Panthers at a time when it just didn’t seem possible. A five-game losing run didn’t exactly give anybody confidence they could get a positive result against the Detroit Lions at Bank of America Stadium, with concerns increasing further after Teddy Bridgewater, Russell Okung, Donte Jackson, and All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey were all ruled out.
Instead of just accepting their fate, the Carolina Panthers dug deep to secure their first shut-out win since 2015.
