Thursday night, the Carolina Panthers fell to the Baltimore Ravens, 22-19, in the first of four preseason football games.

Thursday was a muggy, triple-digit heat index August evening in the Charm City of Baltimore, and the heat outside the stadium also was exuded by fans inside the stadium with an announced attendance of 70,662.

Despite a losing effort for Carolina, many bright spots can be found from Thursday’s defeat along with a couple concerns.
