Will Grier might be traded by the Carolina Panthers in the offseason.
It doesn’t appear that Will Grier has any sort of future with the Carolina Panthers. The second-year-pro has been used sparingly by the organization through the first nine weeks of the campaign and spent a month without activity before he was finally active for their Week 9 game at the Chiefs.
This has been a significant blow for Grier’s development. The Carolina Panthers allocated a third-round pick to get the quarterback out of West Virginia in the 2019 NFL Draft, but it was evident he wasn’t ready to see the field as a rookie and paid the price.
