2019 Offseason moves that reveal direction of the Carolina Panthers

Following an abysmal end to a promising 2018 season, the Carolina Panthers have needed to address several issues. Some being glaring roster holes, others schematically. With a number of key departures and additions to this point in the offseason along with rumors of overhauling their defensive game plan, these Carolina Panthers look to undergo their most prominent identity shift since the introduction of Cam Newton and Ron Rivera in 2011. A shift that Rivera and general manager Marty Hurney need early results from if they’d like to retain their jobs.

Heading into his second season as owner, David Tepper has already proven he will not settle for mediocrity or live in the past.
