NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting this morning that the Panthers are using one of their 30 official pre-draft visits to host South Carolina product Hayden Hurst. The tight end has been getting a lot of buzz for both his talent and his unusual story recently, and is considered by many as a potential first round pick.
With Greg Olsen getting a little older every year and Chris Manhertz as his only legitimate back up on the roster right now, the first round is definitely not too early to start looking for a complimentary player - and future of the position - to pair with Olsen at tight end.
