The Carolina Panther selected wide receiver D.J. Moore out of Maryland with the 24th overall pick in the draft, and they were anxious to talk about their newly acquired offensive weapon. Here are some quick hitting notes from their day 1 press conference.
- Marty Hurney is most impressed with D.J. Moore’s ability to create yards after the catch. He’s happy with several of his traits, but he kept coming back to what he could do with the ball in his hands. Says “He’s a wide receiver until he catches the ball then immediately becomes a running back.
