You guys know I love the Hog Mollies, and Colby Gossett is a guy from my favorite college football team, Appalachian State, fully deserving of that title. Cam Newton has, with rare exception, had to deal with a leaky offensive line, and that will continue to be the case until we routinely invest in young talent to serve as depth that can potentially start for us one day. Gossett is an excellent “small school” (whatever) prospect that will be looked at later in the draft, probably in the 5th or 6th rounds depending on his performance at the senior bowl.
