Cam Ward is doing great
Recently, I wrote an article that came to an unfortunate conclusion about Cam Ward. At that point in time, I stated (assuming he doesn’t retire or anything) that Ward should be released or traded, by the off-season. Well, over his 5 games this year, good ol’ Cam has made me question that.
He greatly contributed to the Canes’ win against the Islanders, with 27 saves. This performance ups Ward’s save percentage to .922, and makes me look rather stupid. Sure, it may be a small sample size, but it is still impressive.
