Canes fall 4-3 in OT to Hawks
I think we seriously need a name for this. Once again, the Hurricanes significantly (albeit, less so in this game) outplayed their opponent, and still couldn’t pull out a victory in the end. This would result in an entertaining, nerve-racking game, that featured the Hurricanes blowing a 3-1 lead in the third period. Fun.
In losses against the Blues, Avalanche and Coyotes, the Hurricanes were having trouble scoring. Pounding shot after shot on goal, they either ran into a hot goalie or just couldn’t finish up promising plays.
