Werenski and Anderson injured against Hurricanes

Zach Werenski, a defender for the Columbus Blue Jackets, went down with injury in the middle of the first period on Nov. 28 against the Carolina Hurricanes. He got tied up with Josh Jooris of the Canes at the blue line at looked to extend his leg before getting up slowly.

Josh Anderson got tangled with Canes defenseman Jaccob Slavin before going down hard into the boards head first. The first goal of the game was scored by Anderson. He went down with the head injury in the middle of the first period as well.

Werenski assisted on Anderson’s early goal, along with Pierre-Luc Dubois.
