The Carolina Hurricanes came into the home contest with the Nashville Predators on Nov. 26 with hopes of ending a two game skid. Carolina lost to the Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Rangers in their last two.
Meanwhile, the Predators entered as the hottest team in the NHL, winning nine of the last 10. And, Nashville showed why they’re such a tough out, even with backup goalie Juuse Saros between the pipes. Saros kept the Preds in the game the entire way.
Scott Darling got the nod for the Canes against the Preds, with a vast improvement from his result seen against the Rangers with six goals against.
