Yesterday’s article on possible additions to the Hurricanes defense aged about as well as 3 week old milk, left outside, on a summer’s day, in an oven turned to broil. Just about the time I hit SUBMIT, the Hurricanes added Shayne Gostisbehere to their already solid defensive unit.
Given their showing against the Vegas Golden Knights (who did not actually acquire Tage Thompson only to trade him for a Warren Zevon song) last night, Gostisbehere will be a welcomed addition to a Hurricanes defense just in time for a deep play-off run.
