The Carolina Hurricanes faced the Chicago Blackhawks in the back end of back-to-back games on Nov. 10 and Nov. 11. After defeating the Columbus Blue Jackets on Nov. 10, the Canes could have used a win over the Hawks to get the third straight victory.
Two goals from Brock McGinn (three in the last two games) helped the Canes along especially early in the game. Carolina controlled the pace of play for most of the contest until a two goal run from Chicago in the third period.
A few players on the Canes’ roster right now are former Hawks.
