Lucas Wallmark Signs Two-Year Deal with Hurricanes

The Carolina Hurricanes announced on Thursday that they’ve agreed to terms with forward Lucas Wallmark on a new deal that would keep him with the team for the next two years.

The deal will give Wallmark $650,000 at the NHL level (or $70,000 at AHL) level in the 2018-19 season, including a $100,000 guarantee. In 2019-20, the contract will be a one-way deal that will be worth $700,000 in either league.

Wallmark has played in 19 NHL games over the last two seasons with Carolina, including 11 in 2017-2018. He netted his first career NHL goal last season, his only point with the Hurricanes that year.
