Following tonight’s nail biting win against the Flyers, news broke that Carolina Hurricanes legend, Justin Williams, the 3 time Stanley Cup champion and Conn Smythe winner had resigned with the Carolina Hurricanes.
Reports were coming in throughout the week that he was in talks with the Hurricanes about a return. As well as there being other teams in the mix like the Maple Leafs and the Bruins to name a few.
Back on September 2nd, it was announced that Williams would be stepping away from the NHL.
