Hurricanes’ games through Jan. 23 postponed, training facilities closed

The NHL announced that the Hurricanes’ scheduled home games against the Florida Panthers on Thursday, Jan. 21 and Saturday, Jan. 23 have been postponed, and that the team’s training facilities have been closed.

The news comes following Jaccob Slavin, Jordan Martinook, Teuvo Teravainen and Warren Foegele joining Jordan Staal on the NHL’s COVID protocol related absence list and the team’s game against Nashville Tuesday being postponed.
