The Carolina Hurricanes are back in the nation’s capital to take on the Washington Capitals tonight for game five of their second round series. Game time is 7 P.M. and the game will be televised by TNT/truTV.
The Canes did quite well with their brief two game homestand as they outscored their opponents, 9-2.
Goalie, Frederik Andersen continues to shine and he leads all playoff goalies with a .945 save percentage and a 1.41 GAA.

Brind’Amour stated after practice that Jalen Chatfield was just taking a maintenance day and he is expected back in the lineup for game five.
