Hurricanes 5, Predators 2

The Carolina Hurricanes normally outshoot their opponents, even if they are outscored, but on Wednesday night in Nashville they made the most of their chances and beat the Predators, 5-2 even though they were outshot, 37-25.

Pyotr Kochetkov made 35 saves on those 37 shots and earned the win for Carolina.

Sebastian Aho got the scoring started in the first period for the Hurricanes when he scored a powerplay tally, his 14th of the season and his 500th career point.
