Game Preview: Hurricanes at Penguins

The Canes will look to build some more momentum when it takes on the Penguins in Pittsburgh Thursday.

On the heels of a statement win against Vegas on Tuesday, Carolina (17-12-3) hits the road once more seeking to keep the ball rolling in its recent return to form. Despite a pair of overtime losses, the Hurricanes boast eight points in its last five games.

On the other end, the Penguins (14-13-3) have won three of their last four games, but with the caveat of some weak competition. Pittsburgh got the job done against Arizona, Montreal and Minnesota — all teams in the bottom half of their respect divisions — but those results were separated by a startling 7-0 to loss Toronto.
