Finally the Canes seem to be playing like the Canes we all know and love. It took a let down game and then some stressful OT, but the Canes got two points out of Sunday. For now that’s all that matters.
While Vegas didn’t go as planned, the Canes are still 14-4-2 against the West. If there is any time to gain ground in a wild Metro, it’s this trip out west. To put in perspective how crazy the Metro is; if the Canes win tonight and Columbus, Philly, and the Islanders all lose, the Canes will jump from 6th in the Metro, not in a playoff spot, to third in the Metro above both wild card spots.
