Well that escalated quickly!
It was just announced that Don Waddell has resigned from his position as President and General Manager of the Carolina Hurricanes.
Owner, Tom Dundon placed Eric Tulsky as interim general manager while a search is conducted.
Darren Yorke will help out during the search and transition.
Waddell was in need of a new contract and it is assumed he will accept a position with the Columbus Blue Jackets where it was rumored he had interviewed recently.
