Calvin De Haan and Jalen Chatfield have their own streak going. From heretofore it shall be known throughout the land as the “Hanfield Era” and it extends further back than the current Carolina Hurricanes points streak.
Since the now infamous game against Arizona, where the Canes lost 4-0, De Haan and Chatfield each have one negative point game. That game, was against the Calgary Flames and both went for -1. Chatfield played 16 shifts and 13:04 of ice time. De Haan clocked 12:06 of ice time and also had 16 shifts.
From November 29th against the Pittsburg Penguins until AND including December 27th’s game against the Chicago Blackhawks, Calvin De Haan and Jalen Chatfield have not had a negative point game.
