Last season seemed like a dream. After a memorable push that started late December, the Carolina Hurricanes found themselves in the playoffs again, for the first time in almost a decade.
Hurricanes fans who could remember their playoff run in 2009 and earlier suddenly remembered the trills of playoff hockey. There is a reason they call PNC the loudest building in the NHL. Also new fans who never experienced playoff hockey finally realized what the saying “There is nothing like playoff hockey!” really meant.
Any fan of the team during the playoff drought, started the summer with exception that this year will be our year.
