The American Hockey League (AHL) All-Star Classic has returned to California as the Ontario Reign will play host from January 26 and 27th, 2020, and two Charlotte Checkers have been selected to represent the Atlantic Division.
Not unlike the NHL All-Star game, this game has value to the players who go and represent their teams in skills competitions as well as a four team three on three tournament for prize money. The Checkers have been sending multiple players year after year.
This season goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic and defensemen Jake Bean will both represent the Charlotte Checkers in the event.
