The Carolina Hurricanes announced an additional 13 cuts from their training camp roster on Saturday ahead of their game against the Washington Capitals.
2011 fourth-round draft pick Gregory Hofmann will return to his Swiss club HC Lugano. Forwards Clark Bishop, Warren Foegele, Steven Lorentz, Andrew Poturalski, Nick Schilkey, Spencer Smallman and Sergey Tolchinsky, defensemen Tyler Ganly, Keegan Kanzig and Josh Wesley, and goalies Alex Nedeljkovic and Callum Booth were all assigned to the Charlotte Checkers.
